I received a call from Telkom call centre prior to the expiry of my wireless contract at the end of March 2019, of which I told them that I wasn't going to renew like I have done on previous occasions since I have a new service provider. However after that, I still received statements that my contract wasn't cancelled and their still debiting my account. It was only in September 2019 where I got given the proper instructions to cancel my contract, after I have been calling Telkom every month to terminate their services without luck, however when I wanted them to extend their services it was done telephonically ALL these years. On the 21st Sept 2019 I submitted all the necessary documentation with an exception of a copy of my ID, which was then hand delivered on the 22nd Sept 2019 to Keo****tse at the Northgate branch by my partner to expedite the cancellation. On the 9th of December when I went to enquire at Telkom Cradlestone branch, I was informed that the contract was only terminated in November 2019. As of this morning I found that my bank account was debited again with R761. When I call their call centre, a lady by the name of Sandisiwe tells me that I need to be charged a cancellation fee even though the contract expired in March already. I have been incurring bank charges everytime I reverse those amounts, and yet it doesn't show that Telkom is prepared to stop *****ing my money. I'm really annoyed. What I need to know is what is it that I need to do for Telkom to stop fiddling with my bank account as I no longer use their services. I'm really disappointed with them after being their client for 6 years. Is this how they repay me for my loyalty? Case no. ***4
