Abuse from Telkom after I have cancelled the service
Good day,
I have had a mobile router contract for over 24months with Telkom. I canceled the service for the router on 21 February 2019 for the following number ********** 290 (Reference ********** 8).
On 22 February 2019 I received a call from Jeanette Boitumelo Rantlhane who offered me a R50 deal for the same data I was receiving and I agreed to the deal. See the email she sent be below: Good day.
Hope this mail finds you well. Kindly please be advised that as per our telephonic conversation if you keep your contract Smart OneRate Deal on the number ********** 290 on a month to month basis you will only pay R50.00 for the data. You will no longer pay for the device but only the data and on a month to month contract you can cancel the contract anytime you want to website on the Jeanette Boitumelo Rantlhane ********** Tel: 081 180 Mobile_Cons_Retentions
On the 30th of April 2019, I was debited an additional R74.94 without receiving any data. I immediately called Telkom on the 1st of May 2019 to enquire, I was told that I used the data and I am saying I have received no data, check your records. I immediately asked the call centre agent to cancel the service with immediate effect. On my current statement, there is an addition R50 that would be debited. I have no data mobile data contract with Telkom and I have not received any data after my cancellation, however, I do not know who gives Telkom the authority to debit me, I need my bank account to be credited back into my account.
I spoke to one of your agent, who hang uped on me, a few minutes ago, that how unprofessional Telkom has turned into.
Best regards, MS
