Absolutely pathetic service from Telkom and its employees particularly those at the call centre.

Absolutely pathetic service from Telkom and its employees particularly those at the call centre. I am on a Telkom Uncapped LTE monthly paid subscription and over the past few weeks my internet connection speed is almost unusable - I am getting speeds of 0.25 Download and 0.16 Upload. After waiting on hold for over 40 minutes after calling 081 180 and eventually getting through to an agent last night then proceeding to inform her that I have already logged a call with reference number ***9 and the problem still persists she disconnected the call. I called back and was on hold for another 30 odd minutes and eventually spoke to gentlemen by the name of Pontsho - I asked him to take my cell number and call me back if we were disconnected. I explained that I have received SMS's from Telkom requesting that I change settings on my Huawei B315s Router but I cannot find the settings referred to , Pontsho put me on hold and said he was going to call me back and then ALSO DISCONNECTED the call. I stayed on This is totally unacceptable particularly by the people who are employed by Telkom to provide " customer service " - there are so many South African looking for a job that it is unacceptable that Telkom employees continue to provide such shoddy service. I tried calling customer service today 05 December 2019 and spoke to Given who told me she deals with prepaid and NOT contract - this is even after I keyed in my cellphone and she transferred me to contracts but this actually went tthrough to a self help menu. I called again and spoke to Yanga and after explaining my situation and he started with the verification of my details and after asking for my ID number he disconnected and put me through to the after call survey - needless to say I rated him a 0 ( zero ). I called back again and spoke to Nonkululeko - I gave her the details and the reference number I had received in November which was *** and explained that the problem still existed even though that reference was marked as resolved ( all that was done was I was sent SMS's stating I needed to change settings on my router. I was put on hold for approximately 3 minutes by Nonkululeko and then she proceeded went through some troubleshooting steps with me and once again I explained that the settings reflected in the SMS's were not correct as I DO NOT HAVE THOSE settings in my Router settings. I was once again placed on hold by Nonkululeko this time for approximately 10 minutes. I was told that 3G is blocked in my area - I informed Nonkululeko that I have selected 4G as my connection method and we continued for another full 5 minutes or so after which I was once again put on hold. Eventually I was told to take the device in to a store to check the device - this was after approximately 40 minutes on the phone and roughly 5 phone calls.
