Absolutely disgusting service!!!!!!!!

The mobile phone contract was taken out in January 2017. On the 31st May, i took the phone in as i was concerned that something was wrong with it due to it stating the phones temperature was too high and it just stopped working. Telkom said i need to take the phone in to the repair department so that they could have a look and see if perhaps there was something else wrong with it. The repairs department had my mothers contact number however unbeknowst to me, her phone could not accept text messages. Apparently Telkom was sending her messages to let me know that there was an amount of R3520 that needed to be paid for the repair of the phone. I only found this out approximately 3 months later as i contacted Telkom myself to find out what was happening with the phone. They had told me that the problem was liquid damage and this was not covered by the warranty. I then asked what i could do to sort this out as the R3520.00 was too much for me to pay. They told me that i could pay a R188.00 assessment fee to be able to get the phone back with the courier to the branch i initially took the contract out with. I then paid the R188 and they told me they would send me a message to say they had received the money. I paid the R188 on approximately the 29th September and subsequently called Telkom Repair Centre on the 3rd October to find out if they received the payment. They then told me that Telkom had sold the device. I have had absolutely no success in trying to figure out exactly what is going on with this and i am continueing to be billed as part of the contract. I cannot understand how they can just decided to sell the device without my knowledge! I am absolutely appalled and in serious need of assistance in sorting this out!
