Abrupt and unfriendly staff and

I was at Telkom in Chatsworth, in Chatsworth Centre. 1. Although there was only about 6 people in the line before me, it took me 40 minutes to reach the person at the front desk. While in the que, there was staff around with whom we enquired about specials telkom was having on WIFI. As I was warned by other people that visit the store, the staff are USELESS. I was told that ALL INCLUSIVE a deal would cost me around R345. I even asked the lady the second time to make sure i heard right. When I finally get to the front I was told that it would be almost double 345. 2. When we reached the front desk we were "assisted" by a very rude and abrupt man. I did not get his name, but he was a well built bald indian man. 3. We (my family) reached the front desk to pay our telkom account and the man looks at my dad in an undermining way. He tell us in a very rude manner, " we don't do accounts here. You Must go to checkers or other outlets to pay it." He then followed to say in an even worse manner and laughed at my dad saying, " you stood in the que just for this." My family and I took offence to the way he spoke. 4. We then enquired on getting telkom's special on 25GB WIFI for R299. My parents were not farmilar with wifi so I was there. The same man tells us information about the product which we had already known. When I asked a questions on the special he began to become more abrupt and was providing us with answers other than what we wanted. For example, my mum asked him to check her telkom line account on the system so we can work from there (work on prices). He angrely said no its all here and he showed us our telkom itemised billing posted to us. Although we wanted to know how the deal with the NEW contract would be he again did not respond to us in an orderly manner. OVERALL my experience with my family at Telkom in Chatsworth was very bad. It reflects bad on Telkom and not solely on the store. I had since not been to the store because of the manner in which my parents were treated although we were willing to get the WIFI special ON THAT DAY. Many people have told me their experiences at that store and I did not believe them. However, now that I have witnessed it myself I can tell others about my experience so that they don't have to be DISRESPECTED. Kind Regards Nikhil
