A telecoms and IT company that cannot check stock at branches...

Went to Telkom Kollonade to get a contract on iphone. They did not have stock, and was unable (could not believe it) to check stock at other branches, or order one. Any clothing company can do this today, but not Telkom. Something to do with franchise and the Telkom Direct shop across the road could check... An IT company in 2017 cannot do this?? You lost the deal Telkom.
