A Pack of Lies from a ***** Salesman

We wanted to increase our current ADSL data from 20 gig pm to a 50 gig pm. Telkom provided us with a new modem we didn't seem to be able to connect to the internet, which we reported to Telkom as a problem.

We then had a person from Telkom arrive with the name of Johannes (he referred to himself as Jo & was from Limpopo originally) who arrived at our door to 'upgrade' our current line from a 4 MB to a 10MB as 'all the lines in the area will be upgraded to fibre optics'. He had all our details, names, ID numbers, current package, etc so there was no reason to doubt what he was offering us. We duly signed & waited for our new faster line

After a month of no internet we get a visit from another Telkom employee named Clarence who wanted to check what the problem was with our internet & he fixed the problem promptly. He tells us that there is no way in hell that our line can be a 10 MB!

So Telkom, what kind of a racket are you playing here? If you do decide to outsource people maybe you should ensure that your salespeople are fully informed of what you can and can't offer, instead of over-charging for products not available

Sort your stuff out !
Eric
