A new way to do a job - just mark it done!

I app**** 8 - EIGHT - weeks ago for my telephone line to be moved in Danabay, Mosselbay. I patiently waited until I got a booking six weeks after applying. I got an SMS telling me to make sure I was home the ENTIRE day for the Telkom Technician to arrive. After waiting the entire day for no-one I went to the Telkom store in the Langeberg Mall. A very courteous gentleman called the technician who had some excuse about an order no not being received. Mr. Tyatula asked the technician to sort out the problem as soon as possible. I was told it would be installed asap. Another 3 days with no word, I returned to Langeberg Mall. This time a lady - I did not get her name - was EXTREMELY rude - told me she would get \Steve"the technician to \""do me a favor by installing it on Monday - since the job was now marked done - even though it has not been done and still not been done. I will now take time off for a third time to wait in cues of more than an hour each time to get someone at Langeberg mall to explain to me what is going on. Surely it is ***** to mark a job done when it is not done - or is this a new way for Telkom to pretend it is giving service while they charge you? Very Upset."""
