A new meaning to Pathetic

Beware, beware before you sign up with Telkom on LTE uncapped, you pay more for faster download speeds, but they certainly cannot and honestly don't seriously want to deliver on what you signed up for. I signed up for 10MB download speed, at first when I received my router I assumed the problem was my smart TV, so I bought a Android box and problem continued. I downloaded a speed test for my Network and to date the best speed when I am lucky is around 1.5 MB download but on a 10MB test the average is 0.52 MB. They have the cheek to charge me two days from the previous month as that is when the router was delivered, but to date I have to keep on paying and the thing is absolutely useless. R 899 a month and I can do nothing with it. I have phoned and logged a call almost every second day, and only on my 7th attempt was I given a reference number. 4 days later, yes I am paying for this I followed up on the chat line, and they told me very clearly it is 72 working hours, so i must be patient. I was typing back now will I get a credit for this not working days, and before I could send the operator disconnected me. I am now totally at limber with no where to turn and stuck with my 24 month contract that I have to pay for a piece of *******. I am stuck with it, it is my problem but please don't make the same mistake. Telkom sucks and that is the bottom line, you will pay but service is only great before and up until you have signed contract. I cannot stress how frustrating this is, I cancelled my DSTV, and as bad as DSTV was, at least I could switch my TV on and actually see something even though it was the same thing I have seen a 100 times. There are other choices out there, don''t make Telkom one of them!!! They should not promise what they cannot deliver just to get the sale done
