A contract sim swap taking forever

Went to apply for a new phone on Saturday, and everything went well and I asked that my contact number to be my old number was assured that everything will be done , sent an email on Monday that my old number is blocked and I work with my phone, I even called and visited the store again , basically everything is on hold , dear telkom I don’t know who needs to do their work but that person is messing up with my bread , my relationship and my social life , can this mess be sorted out tomorrow or kindly take your contract back and I go back to my normal life
