I canceled my home wifi contract. Cool. Was a simple process.

For the last month of my now canceled contract (Feb) I still had that month's data to use. I used it up way before the end and decided to buy a bit more to last me the rest of the month, if not longer.

Come 1st March, my sim is completely deactivated. I am not able to use this sim and with that the data I had left over, of which I purchased with my own money had fallen away. I was told there's nothing they can do and that I just have to forfeit the money and data.
