8 'wrong' technicians, 4 months later and 1 broken Telkom landline

The title may sound like a bad poem, however it's an ongoing every day struggle with Telkom. Today marks the day where Telkom messed up for 8 consecutive times in a row. Your eighth technician is currently at my premisis telling me that he cannot fix the line becuase, and I quote, "He only fixes dead lines".

I then instructed him to **** my line - tear it from the pole if he must, but just ensure it's reconnected correctly because I'm *fairly* sure that the connection is to blame. The very first technician to visit me put the liine back up and told me himself that "It is a temporary solution and Telkom needs to send someone to replace the entire line. It will be done within the next 2 weeks." That was 4 months ago. I asked the current technician for the phone number of his supervisor or an individual with enough logic to understand my predicament and send the correct person to fix it. The number he provided me was incorrect.

The error, in the best possible way in which my ISP and myself can describe, is as follows:
The connection drops at least 10 times daily or when put under "stress". The drops are caused by the noise on the line. The SNRM is currently 5dB (should be AT LEAST 6dB). The original speed was 10Mbps down. The line is currently running at 2Mbps down at best.

My ISP has escalated this at least twice a week for the past 4 months with you people. I am waiting until the end of this month for you to repair my line before I do it myself and take action for the losses incurred by myself and my business.

This is now my second complaint to your company and nothing has happened.
(https://hellopeter.com/telkom/reviews/32-days-3-tickets-and-four-technicians-later-and-my-line-has-still-not-been-repaired- ********** )

Regards
Chris

Good day,

I've already emailed your help desk once before, only to be CC'd in a mail where the service departments told each other to assist me. 'Twas an excellent display of passing the buck (see link for screenshot of the conversation) where no assistance was actually given.

Possibly the worst customer service and biggest lack of internal communication I've ever seen from any company.

Kindest regards
Chris

Good afternoon,

I just recieved a final payment notice from your company. Please note that I will not be making any payment, as previously stated, until my line is functional. I will call your help center and explain the same thing to them. If my service is terminated my business which runs off of that line will incur losses. I am already losing business as a result of dropped Skype calls becuase of the connection and incompleted transactions.

This complaint was made 10 days ago. I have created a thread on MyBroadband, sent a private message to Telkom Support on the forum, emailed your Help Desk as requested, had my ISP escalate the support ticket for the 16th time in a row and called your call center mutiple times with no answer or solution to my problem.

What is happening? Can I PLEASE have any form of feedback from you people?
