72 working hours=9 working days
My account was suspended, but the debit ran on my bank account on the 27th August 2015. I then attempted a sim swap on the 1st of September and was told that my account is suspended. I called the customer care centre on the 2nd and the lady told me if can take up to 72 WORKING HOURS. After some confusion on my side, she explained that working hours means between 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. after some quick calculations, I realized that this means up to a total of 9 WORKING DAYS. In my case, this means up to 13 normal days for their system to find the damn transaction and allocate it. Although the funds probably appeared in their bank account at the most a couple of days later. The lady calmly told me that there is nothing I can do about it, not even sending them my bank statement will help. I'm at a loss Telkom.
