7 weeks repairs and still waiting

I send it my Huawei P9 Lite on 5 June 2017 for repairs, and still did not receive any concrete feedback regarding how much will the repair cost or how long should I still wait. It has been 7 weeks now (36 Working days) I was told it will take 21 days max. I phoned in on the 22nd June 2017. and was told the phone was only handed to external on the 15th. Then phoned in again on 29 June 2017 and was told there is no spares for the phone. I then ask is there any cost to me. I was advised that they can not give a quote as yet I should phone on the monday. I then phoned on the 13th July 2017 and was told that a quote was only send to the insurance on the 10th July2017 (this is now 31 working days). I still don't know when will I get my phone back and how much will it be. I also advised Hauwei gives 1 free screen replacement. As per their warranty policy http://consumer.huawei.com/za/support/warranty-policy/index.htm. Please help I have been long waiting for this phone.

I now phoned the insurance on 20 July 2017 and was firstly advised to pay R500 which I was waiting for the banking details. I was then said it was a mistake and need to pay R1000 which I feel is unfair as the repairs is only R1800 just becaused I submitted the phone on 5 June 2017 (5 months after having the phone) The insurance was notified on 10 July 2017 (6months into the contract). This is a delay from Telkom side and I should not pay any panilty fees as today I have the insurance over 6 months Then I advised Huawei gives one free screen replacement on the P9 lite. Now I am requesting to cancel the insurance and give back my unrepaired phone. Then is told to pay R188 for an assessment of what I don't know because the only the screen is cracked. I feel frustrated and don't even want the phone anymore because either way I look I need to pop out money for what?
