7 Day out of box policy

I received the device from them on Thursday and was asked to sign a in store check list without them opening the phone when I got home and opened the phone there was a crack on the bottom of the screen and when I took it back I was told because I signed they can only send the phone in for repair, I then I asked to speak to a manager and was told there is no manager in the store as he/she is in a meeting elsewhere and when I asked for a number for a person higher up than the manager they gave me a number that does not exist. This is totally unacceptable and I want a representative from Telkom to give me a call.
