67 Days and counting.
Over the last 3 months I have had a very painful journey with Telkom. The problems started the day I cancelled a contract. I cancelled the contract for a Deal of the Month package that I took out on 2nd August 2018. The Sim card and Device was collected from me on 14th August 2018 (Yes it took 12 days for Telkom to get from application to cancel to device collection… Super-Efficient) Come month end August I was surprised to see Telkom debiting my account for the device and service that I no longer had. I followed up with Telkom’s call centre numerous times to try and get this issue resolved to no avail. Come month end September I was surprised again to see Telkom debiting my account for a device and service they do not render to me.
So here we are on the 8th October 2018, and I’m wondering about a few things. Will my account be deducted for a third moth for a device and service that I don’t have come month end? Will the funds *******ly deducted from my account be paid back? Will I receive interest on the money that was wrongfully deducted from my account?
Here is the number of the contract in question: ********** Some of the reference numbers I have collected on my journey: ********** 2 ********** 5 ********** 3 ********** 5
Here I stand with my hat in my hand, asking for my money back that Telkom wrongfully took from me so that I can buy some formula milk for my 2 month old baby boy. Telkom is literally taking food out of my baby’s mouth.
Good Afternoon Nico
