6 months and counting to resolve a billing query

I have, since August 2014, when I migrated to what was promoted as a better deal from Telkom, been struggling to get the service I pay for.<br> <br> Numerous calls and even visits to their branches to try and resolve my issue have been futile. I am given reference number after reference number and promised that things will be resolved within 24 hours.<br> <br> I was on the R199 promotion that Telkom had, where you get 10GB of data. In July, their promotional agent called and said I was eligible for a new promotion, which included 10GB of data during the day and 10G of data at night (15GB for the promotion mth) with a wifi router. <br> <br> I have been without use of the router, as my sim card is too small to fit into it. Additionally, I had to pay for the router (R363.93), and I only get 5GB of data. With the result that I have had to purchase additional data every month since August. Further to this, the 5GB of data now costs R259.00 per month.<br> <br> In December, I refused to pay the invoice as they had failed to resolve my query. Telkom promptly cancelled my sim card, even though the money was then deducted from my account in January.<br> <br> This has been the most frustrating experience ever! :(
