4 Months for an ADSL Line?
Hi. So I ordered an ADSL line for my home in Uitzicht in Cape Town in the middle of June. I was told that there are no ports at the exchange and that I have to wait until the 7th of August. The 7th came and I plugged in my modem and the line came up. It worked very well for about a week and a half and then it went down again.

I phoned Telkom and the gentleman on the other end said that the line that was active at my house was allocated to another customer and that there is no infrastructure available for my line and that I have been \placed on a waiting list"and now have to wait until the 30th OF SEPTEMBER.

How can it possibly take this long?

I need this sorted out. I need Telkom to provide me with some sort of connectivity in the interim. Telkom has 3G/LTE coverage in the area. You can't give me connectivity and then take it away. It doesn't work like that!!
