<p>39 Day old IPhone 6 deemed out of warranty ....</p> <p>I got a brand new iPhone 6 from Telkom on the 13 May 2016.</p> <p>The only problem with my iPhone 6, is that it stated missing SIM card every day or so, and then I can’t make or receive phone calls or text messages. The only way to clear the error is to reboot the phone, but then in a few days time the same error will appear again.</p> <p>I changed the SIM card, a few times to check the sim - but still no joy!</p> <p>I then did a complete restore - but it will not continue with the restore process as the IPhone cannot read a SIM card.</p> <p>Took iPhone for repair to Telkom 21 June - the repair centre SMSed me "phone is out of warranty" I must pay R5750 for repairs
