24 month contract billed as once off for R 7K

2 weeks have passed and absolutely nothing has been done. I got another sms this morning telling me to pay the entire 24 month contract upfront and that it is due by the 26th of Feb. Do I have to seek legal advise to get this resolved? Do your customers have to institute legal proceedings and drag you to court in order to resolve mistakes on your side?
