21 Days My A**

I bought a samsung phone from Telkom in February 2018. In August the phone had a black dot on the screen of which I was told it was a screen burn. So because my phone was still under warranty I took it in to a Telkom express store in Clearwater Mall on the 8th of August...Biggest Mistake if you ask me.

I got there and they told me I must go to the other Telkom store which was not an express store because that is where the technicians are only to be turned back because they could not pick up my Proof O Purchase as my phone was bought at an express store...Fair Enough... I go to the express store again and I tell them this and I wait and wait and wait to be asssisted and I was finally told that the systems were offline and they could not pull the POP (Proof of Purchase) however I can leave and they will send it to the repair centre and I will get the phone back within 21days ...I should have never held my breath .

...And so I left only to my suprise I received an sms from the Repair Centre (Bradian Logistics ) that my phone has been deemed OUT OF WARRANTY which I later learnt that was not their fault but that of Telkoms because they DID NOT send the POP to the Repair Centre even though they had requested for the POP several times.

I then had to run around like a headless chicken, and call back and forth to get the POP and I finally got assisted by the manager (Ruben ) at Sandton City Express Store who even did a follow up to find out if I received the POP (Not all Rotten Potatoes) Thank You Ruben

So after all of that drama I sent the POP to Bradian Logistics who then told me I will get my phone soon, a few days later I recieved an sms from them saying my phone had been deemed under warranty and would be fixed and I will get it back soonest, the following week I received another to say my phone had been fixed and sent back to the store and I should receive it in 4days, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and counted 4 working days...

I go back to the store after numerous calls to the store and contact centre only to be **** to as the gentleman who asssisted said the phone was only dispatched on the 20th of September LIES because I had already recieved an sms to say it was dispatched 9/10 days ago... So I again fought with Bradian Logistics and once again not their fault because they sent me proof to say the phone had been infact delivered and actually signed for by a Mpho...

I then print the proof and head to Telkom Express store on the 29th of Sep where I had handed the phone in only to be assisted by a Mpho who says the signature on the Proof of delivery was not hers!!!!!! I'm sure you can imagine that my blood pressure shot to the roof and I was in such disbelief... I then asked is there another Mpho that works in that Telkom or maybe the other Telkom maybe the phone was delivered there... and yes there was... So I head there and find that there is no Mpho in on the day hes off or on leave... I was almost turned back thanks to Neo and Mandla who assisted me in looking for the phone. They could not find the phone so I LEFT! Then 10/15 minutes later I got an sms to say they had found the phone... FINALLY

...FINALLY i was reunited with my phone and everything was erased NO SUPRISES THERE.

With all that being said I would like to say Telkom has by far given me the worst service ever... It has taken 2 months for my phone to get back to me...

Why was I not informed of the processes ? Why did Telkom not send the POP? Why did Telkom not inform me that my phone was back? but the BIGGEST Question I'm asking myself now is....

WHY AM I STILL WITH TELKOM ?????
