15G used in two days and we weren't even home!!!

it Seems to be close to impossible getting valuable assistance from you guys at Telkom, and a simple phone call to gather what the matter at hand is, clearly is to much of a hassle.

I'm going to break it down for you as to what it is we require from Telkom, I don't want to confuse you lot any further.

- We need a detailed report on where our data has been used and how much, as your report stipulating time only isn't good enough, we were not at home at those times. Furthermore the amount used at these stipulated times aren't making logical sense to us. We are not arguing about the data being used we're simply asking for a breakdown which would obviously equip us better to make better use of your services which we're supposed to be paying for, which leads me to my next point.

- The amount of R600 going of our account at the end of this month is ridiculous, we are "making use" of your services since beginning of August 2017, we were given the impression that we will be charged pro rata and fees for September at the end of August /beginning of September. When I had queried this with Tacita, she had stated that we will now have the pro rata amount, September and October go off in one debit order. That is completely ridiculous, given our current economic state in south Africa, the majority do not have R600 to spend randomly on a "WiFi" bill! Something also to take note, we had agreed contractually on a set date to be debited.

- Your consultants sense of urgency and service is appalling, Imran and myself, come from a well established service orientated company and to experience such low standards from such a "reputable" company like Telkom, honestly leads me to question humanity. Common sense and the want to be of assistance is all we require. We are not unreasonable people and definitely understand that there are systems and procedures to follow, with that said we are also well aware of our standing in legally binding contracts as well as our rights and obligations under a contractual agreement and I would assume Telkom and their representatives are to.

Mr Pather, I find it highly disappointing that we had to beg and plead to be put in contact with you and still no action from your side.

Telkom has definitely dropped stars in my opinion and I will make it my mission to pass on my experiences.

This was Mr Pather's "helpful" response to my email. Good day, Although I hear you plight and see your frustrations, the crux of the matter is that the data was used in your possession and as a result, you cannot hold, Telkom or its subsidiaries responsible for that fact. Telkom will give you, what it is capable in terms of usage, as stated this case is pending, and we will await feedback. I can only suggest, you monitor your usage in future to alleviate such issues. Kind regards Strigan Pather

Mr Pather, Like i'v told you we are fully aware of the nitty-grittys of a contractual agreement, so no need to indirectly remind us of that. I am sure that telkom is able to furnish us with a detailed report of where our data is going, how on earth are we supposed to be more careful if we don't have a cooking clue about whats eating data! I honestly strongly suggest that you guys think beyond simply working at Telkom, think logically..... WE NEED A DETAILED REPORT SO THAT WE ARE ABLE TO BE MORE CAREFUL IN FUTURE. I hope that makes more sense. Why are you guys so hesitant on providing us with a report. We do want to continue with using your services, we simply would like to make use of it to the best we can. A report pointing us in the right direction in achieving this is all we need. Mr Pather, let's cut the scripted responses and actually deal with this matter diligently. Should you find that you're incapable of assisting us to the best of your ability, lets save time and frustration and rather put us in contact with someone who is better equipped to handle such a matter.
