15 days waiting for a technician to come
I have a internet line at home which i use daily for work, I have spoken to my ISP (Afrihost) on numerous occasions (Daily actually) regarding this, They have escalated it and logged as many faults as they can, Im sitting with 7 different fault report reference numbers.
According to Afrihost , Telkom has overloaded a port in my area, thus dropping my internet connection every few minutes. However for the past 15 days ive had no connectivity( Which im still liable to pay for). This issue when first reported had a speey response,A technician came to the residence took 2 minutes and said he has to come back the following day, I have been waiting since then. Getting frustarted with waiting as im losing out on work I again asked Afrihost what was happening, To my surprise according to Afrihost, Telkom had not submitted a update or even notified them that a technician had come out in the first place. Which leads me to believe that my issue has just been shrugged off by telkom.
Im very upset regarding this matter as I will more than likely lose my job due to this issue as i cannot afford to constantly buy data for my mobile when I use on average 6gb a day.
Please help! I cant lose my job
