13 year sim card blocked from porting or ID number fix , Porting blocked

I bought prepaid telkom sim car in 2012/2013, before Rica was thing if I remember correctly , now I am told my number is under a different ID and any attempt to recover is blocked, porting number to my ID number impossible, porting to other networks blocked, even if I can keep my sim inactive for three months it will be given to someone else, now have to find way to update my 13 year old number in every app and hope that people who listed me as emergency at school, policy documents have to update to my new number, My social accounts impacted. at this stage staff at overport and westwood says there is no way to recover my number, There is a possibility that I could be also considedr froad trying to ***** someone number even though I bought sim card and do not quite rember if rica was required in 2013 when Telkom launched batman prepaid sim, I am still on batman but no hope at keeping my number if I cannot do sim swipe and not sure who did the Rica and When since I was able to do sim swipe in 2018 without issues. Luckly the sim is still with me but if phone is ****** I will be in big trouble
