12 days with no service

My phone connection went down 12 days ago. I reported the fault to telkom, I find It necessary to add, my phone line has been scratchy and near dead since the beginning of December. This is the 4th fault in two months I've reported to telkom.

A technician was assigned to the latest fault, (Douglas). After a week of nothing being done we phoned the call centre to find out what was happening. The call centre agent informed us that Douglas had returned our fault to the queue and another tech had been assigned. Two days later we received a call from another technician who told us he would be arriving between 16:00 and 16:30 on a Thursday. 17:00 came around, and nothing. in the meantime I've received a bill from Telkom, and a sms threatening to cut off my service if i don't pay.

I've phoned the call centre countless times, I ha ent recieved one bit of helpful information from them. I have no phone, no internet and a telkom bill for a service which is currently not working.

Is this how you treat your customers? With shoddy and indifferent service? When will my service be attended too? Or do you expect me to keep paying for something you refuse to fix? Do I need to take you to court in order to get what I pay for?

No thanks. I cancelled my service with telkom. Went for WiFi with a different company. I haven't had any problems since. Also saved money. Besides, I sent this message how long ago? My line had been off for a near a month before Telkom sent a technician. No friend. Mweb had me sorted out in 2 days. I would not recommend telkom to anyone. Mweb WiFi is good bang for your buck, afrihost has good deals too. I save near R400 every month without the landline.
