1 month to deliver an ipad mini

I ordered an ipad mini for my daughter to use at school from Telkom Sandton on the 11th of January. They were out of stock and would source it from their warehouse. Over a month later I'm still waiting for the ipad. No one bothers to call and give me progress on the order. Why does it take over a month to source an ipad and move it from a warehouse to a store? I cant even call and check progress cause their phone numbers listed on the internet are incorrect. Extremely unhappy.
