1 Month No Internet and Phone Line

Hi,

I reported a fault on 10/02/2017 via my ISP Mweb for slow connectivity. The Mweb tech advised that there seems to be an unusal amount of noise on the line and will have to ask Telkom to repair this. During this time, I had a telephone land line, and an intermittent/slow internet connection which was manageable to deal with. On a 4MB circuit i was receving 1MB sync.

On the 23rd of Feb 2017, a Telkom Technician came out to my premises and ripped out the wires going into the RJ11 Box on the wall. He removed the wiring for my Alarm system which is connected to the telephone line as well as the actual telephone. He was rude and arrogant to my parents who are older. He said the "line is dirty and he needs to wash it" and he left. Those were his exact words. The other thing this tech did was that he swapped my cable with someone else's on those blue and green boxes on the side of the road. I have been telling your call centre people this time and time again but no one listens. So if someone calls my landline, they are actually dialling someone else and not me! This is why Telkom has so many faults, because they have dumb illiterate technicians that can barely even spell his name!

A week later I followed up with Mweb, and they advised that they contacted Telkom and it was a bulk fault regarding cable damage due to Lightning in the area. During the period in which i logged this ticket and today, there has been NO THUNDERSTORMS at all! So where is this information being found. Someone clearly picked their nose here and decided to blame the weather because they are *********** and dont know how to do their job.

I've called in numerous times and they kept telling me the same lame story that "its with out cabling team and they need to buy the cable to replace it". Where does Telkom buy cable from? Mars? Jupiter? Does it take 1 month to even procure cabling??????????

I called in again today 13-03-2017, and spoke to the supervisor of the call centre. He was extremely arrogant and when I asked him questions, he kept quite and stumbled to answer me.

Questions to Telkom:

1) How is a phone line supposed to work after a technician ripped out all the wiring from an RJ11 box?
2) Where did they get the thought from that there was lightning in Durban on the 10/02/2017?

3) When is my telephone line going to be fixed??????????
4) Why am I still being billed for a service that is non-existent!!!!?????

REPAIR MY LINE IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!
