0.5mb speed on a 40mb line

I was very chuffed with my telkom lte package. Used to get between 30 and 40 Meg speeds. Then after 2 months it dropped to 0.5. I thought it's just a temporary issue. After another 2 months of still getting 0.5 on their "super fast lte network" I had no choice but to cancel my contract. Which is my legal right if I don't get what I'm paying for.. according to the consumer protection act. I know I need to pay the remainder of my device cost and need to pay 800 administration fee. No problem just cancel it please. I'm now paying 900 a month for nothing. I sent my form to the cancellation department. Got a reply after 5 days saying sorry for the late reply, but they're working on it. Ok great. Now 2 months later Im still paying 900 per month for a non extent service. I've phoned them 3 times. No one at the call center is able to transfer me to the retention department, that's how their system works. Then they leave an arbitrary note on the system for someone to phone me back and then no one gives enough of a fu*k to actually call back. Question is for how many months will I be paying for a non existent service while telkom ignores the lawns of our beautiful country? Mmm maybe it's time to get my lawyer involved.

Hi Yazied.
To date I have not had any response or feedback from this escallation you got going 2 months ago.
My original cancellation ref no is ********** 7 and was submitted 12 October 2016.
Accoring to the CPA I need to give 20 business days notice. Which I have done in writing and I have received confirmation that its being processed.
WE ARE NOW ON 92 BUSINESS DAYS and I'm still paying for something I cant use.
Do you guys really think its OK to dismiss the laws of South Africa (in addition to ignoring your own clients)?
Please can someone sort this out it is not acceptable AT ALL.
