Based on recent customer reviews, Teleproconsultants draws sharply divided feedback around its debt review removal service. A majority of customers report paying substantial upfront and legal fees, ranging from R4,500 to R12,000, then waiting months or years without clearance letters, progress updates or answered calls. Telepro consultants are a ****
I am lodging a formal complaint against Abantu Debt Solutions, Telepro and Thrive SA. 1. Background In February 2026 I contacted Abantu Debt Solutions and was assured that the debt review flag would be removed from my name. On 27 February 2026 I paid the fee of R6,900 via debt order. 2. Telepro and Thrive SA Telepro then contacted me and said I was being placed on a portal called Thrive SA. Since then, Thrive SA has called me every day asking whether I know I am under debt review and asking if they can help me to remove the flag. I don't know how many people I have spoken to. This repeated, unwanted contact amounts to harassment. 3. Incorrect information on the Thrive SA portal The debt review company listed on the Thrive SA portal is wrong. The correct company is Abantu Debt Solutions. Please correct this immediately. 4. Breach of privacy (POPIA) Abantu Debt Solutions has sent me other people's contracts containing their private and confidential information, including cell phone numbers and ***. This is a breach of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). I reported this by *** on on multiple occasions. My emails were ignored. 5. No response for seven months For seven months I have asked what is happening with my matter, and no one has come back to me. I have had no feedback from any lawyer or consultant, and it appears nothing is being done on my case. Abantu debt solutions Facebook page was last updated in 2023, which adds to my concern that I paid for a service that is not being delivered. I call Telepro Consultants monthly and they tell me a lawyer will call me back, no lawyer has ever called. Mind you can cab write an email. One of the calls the call center manager asked me to remove my Google Review of the business. I will be escalating this to the National Credit Regulator, the Information Regulator, the National Consumer Commission, the relevant ombud, and my attorney.

Teleproconsultants Legalized **** (Dissatisfied Customer)
Extremely disappointed with Teleproconsultans services. Early this year 2026 I required their services to remove debt review flag on my credit report. They requested a fee of R7500, which was fully paid end July 2026. Surprisingly once payment was done their WhatsApp now no longer working, I've sent them numerous email's no feedback. I'm confused whether this is a legalized **** or they are taking advantage of desperate customers. I'm now convinced all good reviews on hello peter are **** or paid for. Don't make a mistake seeking services from these guys unless you want to part ways with your hard end money. I wonder if I will ever get refund or the services I was promised BD Rakgoale

Possible ****
Hi my name is Tieho Sekhosana,I have recently acquired the services of Telepro consultants. I used to get updates when I was still on process of paying. I completed everything and was told my issue is with the legal department and should be taken to a judge then will get response in 21 days, which the 21days was in June 2026.I'm starting to think that this was all a **** because even when I called they would sometimes pick up when I ask to be transfered to the legal department they tell me that legal department will call me and they never do. I have been trying to call them but it just ring,no one answers the phone.

Dissatisfaction about removal from Debt review.
FORMAL COMPLAINT AND DEMAND FOR REFUND I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding the assistance I have received from your company in relation to my request to be removed from debt review. Since last year, I have repeatedly sought assistance from your organization to facilitate my debt review clearance. During this process, I was requested to pay an amount of R4,500.00, which I was informed was required to proceed with the matter. Thereafter, I was requested to make an additional payment of R4,000.00 for legal-related services, bringing the total amount paid to R8,500.00. Despite having paid the full amount requested, I have not received the expected assistance, progress updates, or a satisfactory outcome. Instead, I have experienced continuous delays, poor communication, and a lack of transparency regarding the status of my matter. In March, I was advised by one of your representatives that it was not possible to obtain feedback from the courts. Since then, I have struggled to obtain a clearance letter or any meaningful update regarding my case. Furthermore, I have experienced difficulties contacting your representatives, and I have observed that different WhatsApp numbers are frequently used, creating confusion and raising concerns regarding the legitimacy of the process. Additionally, one of the transactions related to this matter resulted in a loss of R250.00, which has never been adequately explained or resolved due to the WhatsApp number that you usually used ***.. Given the circumstances, I am left with serious concerns regarding the services provided and whether I have received fair and professional treatment as a client. I believe I have exercised patience and fulfilled all financial obligations requested of me, yet I have not received the service for which I paid. Accordingly, I hereby request: A detailed written explanation of all services rendered in exchange for the R8,500.00 paid. A comprehensive update on the status of my debt review removal process. Copies of any documentation, court correspondence, or legal work allegedly undertaken on my behalf. A refund of all monies paid should you be unable to demonstrate that the agreed services were rendered. Should this matter not be resolved within 7 business days from receipt of this letter, I reserve my right to escalate the matter by lodging formal complaints with HelloPeter, the National Credit Regulator (NCR), the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud, and any other relevant regulatory authorities, as well as pursuing any legal remedies available to me. I trust that you will treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves.
