Eezy, peezy, Taxtim Taxreturn, e-filing easy
So, I officially signed up using TT with the previous years financial tax period because I was just hopelessly lost when it came to filing my own return via the portal. Not only did my first submission through TT rp9vide me an easy experience, they also managed to get me some money back. This year, I've been putting it off until today (because SARSstarted sending reminders), in addition to those reminders, TT also reminded me to file my return and as easy as 1, 2, 3... it took me roughly 10 - 15 minutes max, and my return was completed with the possibility of a refund. So convenient, user-friendly, and easy. That in addition to the AI assistant thay makes understanding a particular question that much better. Thanks TT, yours in taxfiling Regards, ***

For example, the SARS form is often unclear on a few things such as whether one includes the half share of sale proceeds on the sale of a primary residence, or the full amount. TaxTim provides clear answers taking out the guess work.

Disappointing Service
I have been trying to get assistance from Tax Tim, their helpdesk is not helpful at all, the consultants give you varying advice and even though they warn of delays with responses, it is extremely frustrating. They also swing from one consultant to another - so for example, one day someone will help only to find when someone EVENTUALLY comes back to continue on your ticket, it has been assigned to someone else and the whole process has to start again from the beginning - bearing in mind, I have already paid them for the (non)service. Am just so disappointed.

Feedback on Filing
I had such a seamless experience with the tax team. Before this, I knew absolutely nothing about filing my taxes or even the terminology used by SARS. They made the whole process so easy to understand and guided me every step of the way. I’ve learnt so much throughout the process, and most importantly, everything went through successfully. Feedback on Filing
I had such a seamless experience with the tax team. Before this, I knew absolutely nothing about filing my taxes or even the terminology used by SARS. Their packages feel like a total ****
I have now made a total payment of around R1400 because taxtims payment system is ******ed. I was led to buy the ultra package which should include everything, and then after submitting my ITR12, which i had to manually do on SARS website anyway, (so that was a complete waste of time and money), I get charged another R600 for my IRP6. The helpdesk admits that its confusing, yet there is no answer around it. One agent states I shouldn't have paid and another says that's just how it works. Now I'm on my last day to submit my irp6 and its just stuck there for a whole day with no movement. Now they also just simply close your calls with only assistance from an agent. I didn't even get any ebucks back from them which they claim you get back.

Issues all over the website/system
I've used TaxTim last year and it worked okay, managed to get my tax return completed. This year is the very opposite, from the start I've been experiencing issues. Couldn't upload my supporting documents resulting in a delay of the return. I needed to log a ticket to get the documents submitted at all. Then come when SARS issues correspondence it does not show up in TaxTim. I can't see the feedback SARS sent as it was only sent to TaxTim, on TaxTim it is showing a status of days old, nothing new, no update. This is now resulting in me not being able to file a possible correction in time after SARS finalized their verification. Very unhappy with TaxTim. Won't be using it next year.
