Supersonic and Fast Fibre conning you into getting Fibre installed

Supersonic uses companies like Fast Fibre to market their fibre offerings. The sales people from Fast Fibre walk around in your neighbourhood and tell you that you can get a months free fibre without any obligation to sign up for fibre. "Everything is free", all you have to do is fill out the form and you are good to go. Other lies the sales person will tell you is that you can come back after 6 months to a year, when you are ready for fibre continue with an official contract.

After a month you get a rude awakening from Supersonic's billing department as if you have signed up for fibre. After speaking to the consultant in the billing department they now tell you that you actually have a 24 month contract with Supersonic although you have not signed any contracts. If you cancel now there is a clawback amount of R1725 for Vumatel's installation of the fibre line and R1007 for the activation of the line. What a nice way to con people into getting a fibre line.

Sorry Supersonic, you have lost a potential loyal customer who is probably never going to ever sign up with you because of your dishonest dealings. At least before you send out the Vumatel technicians for line installation and your Supersonic technicians for modem installation engage with customer and be honest with about the 24 months contract upfront. I would of have said "NO" because it is not something I budgeted for. Nothing is explained to the customer with your sales person from Fast Fibre about "Tryb4Ubuy 30day free trial". Who is going to foot this bill now? Until you can show me a contract where I have signed, I will not be paying a cent. Your partner in crime, Fast Fibre, will have to foot this bill.

Easy lesson here for all potential customers out there thinking about get fibre installed, there is no such thing as a free lunch. Big lesson for Supersonic, there are over 50 service providers in South Africa, you are not the only one, like Telkom (Tel****) used to be back in the day. Also, sort out your relationship with Fast Fibre, who are causing damage to your image.
