Simply Financial Services
Based on recent customer reviews, Simply Financial Services receives polarised feedback. Customers consistently praise the simplicity of the claims process, affordable premiums, and the compassion shown by certain staff members during difficult times, with one claims manager singled out for exceptional service. However, a recurring theme is frustration around unauthorised debits, policies allegedly opened through brokers without consent, persistent deductions after cancellation, and difficulty securing refunds. Concerns about transparency, communication breakdowns between Simply and salary deduction partners, and unresponsive support dominate the negative sentiment expressed by claimants seeking resolution.

I am writing this email with a heavy heart, utterly exhausted and deeply traumatized by the treatment I am receiving from Simplify Financial Services. I am currently mourning the devastating loss of my brother, but instead of being allowed to grieve in peace, I am being subjected to an agonizing runaround that is severely affecting me psychologically. I am appalled by the fact that you are now demanding documentation and requirements that were never mentioned or requested at the point of sale when I purchased this funeral policy.

I would personally like to thank Antoinette Geyser, the Claims Manager from Simply for her incredible service. I initially experienced poor service when claiming for the first time on our company group policy however once Antoinette took over everything turned around. She constantly kept me updated, she showed me such kindness and compassion. I was not treated as yet another number, but as an actual grieving human being. Simply Financial Services is truly lucky to have her and I am very grateful to her for the incredible service delivery.

Good day, it looks like I may have given you the good rating too early. A policy that was canceled in AUGUST 2025 is still deducting on my salary. WHAT IS THE MAIN PROBLEM? PLEASE STOP TAKING MY MONEY!! All the staff are not helpful and I told Avuyile from Simply Financial Services to make sure it does not deduct in November when I was requesting for my refund. Kindly refund my money before end of business today and remove me from your database. What a horrible experience

I opened a policy online with Simply and was quoted a premium of R391.00, which I accepted. Shortly afterwards, I received a call from a consultant who quoted me for another policy. Believing the call was in relation to my existing R391.00 policy, I engaged with her. Without my consent, she activated a second policy for R380.00. I did not authorise this policy and only recognise the one I accepted online at R391.00. Simply debited R380.00 from my FNB account on 31 October 2025 in relation to this policy, the R391.00 was also debited. I contacted Simply to cancel the R300 policy (MZWKAL251015DT) and despite sending multiple emails requesting a refund, I have received a positive response. I demand that Simply refund the R380.00 immediately, as this policy was unauthorised and cancelled within the cooling‑off period. The only valid policy I hold is the one with the premium of R391.00. This lack of transparency and failure to respond to my refund request is unacceptable. I expect urgent resolution and confirmation that only my authorised policy remains active. Desired Outcome: • Refund of R380.00 to my bank account • Written confirmation that only my R391.00 policy is active
