Great service form Simmons Port Elizabeth
Dear Simmons South Africa Management, I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible assistance we recently received from Joni, Allan, and Clyde. You won't believe how much your assistance helped us. we moved to PE and during our move the movers lost one of the bed legs for our Simmons bed. We were running around here in PE checking bed stores, Dial-a-bed, Bed Centre, hardware stores, Gelmar, and even online—even calling companies that manufacture furniture, all to no avail. As a last resort, I thought about emailing Simmons, and everything was sorted within a day or two. The level of customer service from Simmons is world-class and perfectly matches the premium product you sell. When I arrived, Clyde already had the full set of bed legs (including the rollers) out and was waiting for me. Our next bed will definitely be a Simmons. We really appreciate the excellent service and seamless teamwork between Joni, Allan, and Clyde. Kind regards, Shaun Pillay

Extremely Disappointed – Severe Sagging and Back Pain After Just One Year | Do NOT Buy Simmons Winchester
I purchased a Simmons Winchester mattress in 2024 expecting quality and comfort from a well-known brand. Unfortunately, this has been one of the worst purchases I've ever made. Within a year, the mattress has developed significant sagging and is visibly misformed and uneven. You can clearly see it's no longer straight or supportive. Both my wife and I experience serious back pain after sleeping on it — the kind that leaves us stiff and sore every morning. We've tried multiple positions, but the lack of proper support makes it impossible to get restful sleep. I reached out to Simmons twice requesting a replacement due to these clear defects. They eventually sent someone out to inspect the mattress. Despite the obvious visible sagging and deformation, they claimed it was "fine" and refused to replace it. This is unacceptable for a mattress that should last much longer than one year. We are now stuck with a defective product that is causing us physical discomfort every single night. I will never buy another Simmons product again, and I strongly advise everyone else to avoid Simmons mattresses entirely. Save your money and look for a brand that actually stands behind their product with real warranty support.

Simmons Winchester mattress queen size
I purchased a queen size Simmons Winchester bed and base 15 months ago. I had waited 20 years to be able to afford a Simmons bed and was SO excited. The bed needs to be turned every month and they have a system of months printed at the bottom of each in groups of 3 months. Each month you need to turn the mattress so the month you're going into shows at the top of the mattress on the bottom of the bed. However, there are NO lifting straps on the side of the bed AT ALL. I am a woman in my 60's and it has become a huge problem getting this bed turned. I can turn it aournd but to flip it over or sideways is impossible. The mattress is very large and very HEAVY. I live alone and have to find other people to help me which is not always possible. If there were side straps it would make it a lot easier. For such an expensive, heavy bed, one would think they would NOT cut corners like handling straps. The bed also sags where one is sleeping so the bed MUST be turned regularly. I'm really sorry I bought it now as I have no-one to help me turn it regularly and have to consider finding another more manageable or no-turn mattress. Such a waste of hard-earned money.
