Bad and no service

No internet since Friday in Brackendowns due to waterleak and MI2P to some of their manhole sights. No one can give a answer if or when service will be restored. What will they do in the rain season? And why dont they have a contingency plan for this tipe of problems? All I need to know is do we need to look for alternative internet provider?

Hi Carl, unfortunately there was vandalsim to our manholes. It is not the fact that water is leaking that is the problem, it is that there was vandalism and then the fibre was broken, so when the waterleak happened, it then affected the fibre. A general waterleak will have no affect on our fibre, if in it's ducting that has not been damaged. We have already gotten 2 of the manholes fixed and the fibre re-spliced in the area and the team are working on rectifying the rest, as we type this response. We are working on a 48 hours turnaround time to get all customers up.

Thank you for replying, it still do not resolve the problem. And more shocking is that your call centre agents do not want your SO CALLED clients speak to a TM or Manager. Now they say the service will be restored in 48 Hours. What a joke a whole wee**** The worts is that this whole thing stink of *******ion. Manhole covers that can not logg, and what a surprise that there is no other fibre provider in the area. I would like your CEO to get involve and contact the clients directly and personally and tell them how they will be compensated for their inconvenience and expenses that they had during this major **** up. Also explain what the future plans is to insure that this wont happen again.

Hi Carl, we have a plan in place, which includes the fact that we will be slam locking all man holes going forward. Unfortunately, we have no control over vandalism and can only appeal to the public to report any suspicious activity seen. We truly apologise for the inconvenience caused and are working to get customers up and running ASAP.
