6 days waiting for contact from SADV after fault logged
I have Fibre to the home through Web Africa - who use SADV for the infrastructure. I logged a fault (no internet) on the 12 April, 19:00.
I received no phone call to make an appointment. Just a bunch of emails that i was CC'd on which looked like SADV was having a hard time getting hold of their sub-contractor Nono Fibre. Long story short - it is now the 17th April and Nano Fibre eventually pitch - after me throwing my toys for the last 2 days.
They proceed to tell me that a new cable must be laid from my house to the street but they cannot do it now! So i must possibly face the long weekend without internet and subsequently no TV as EVERYTHING IS LINKED TO THE INTERNET.
6 full days without anyone coming to the house just to tell me that i have to wait longer - and to top it off the Nano Fibre technician blames SADV for not communicating - service deliver incompetence.
SADC internet lines are good - but when you have a fault on the line you are stranded. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE.
