I'm writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service provider on the increase of payment On the SA tax rate increase. On 12 March 2025 the South African Finance Minister announced that the value-added tax (VAT) rate will increase by 0.5% to 15.5% on 1 May 2025, and by another 0.5% to 16% on 1 April 2026.01 May 2025. on 27 April 2025, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) officially welcomed the Western Cape High Court's order suspending the planned 0.5 percentage point increase in the VAT rate, After considerable opposition from the Democratic Alliance and several smaller political parties the South African Government has announced that it is cancelling its planned VAT increase. The government originally announced a plan to increase its VAT rate to 15.5% on May 1st and to 16% in 2026.29 Apr 2025.

The service provider increased the monthly payment based on the forecast to the VAT increase, after the the announcement to reverse the decision to increase the VAT the service provider proceeded with the increase as the forecast. Till to date we are still being extra amounts on the internet.
