RealNet Properties
Based on recent customer reviews, RealNet Properties receives sharply divided feedback that reflects a tale of two experiences. Buyers working with individual sales agents, particularly across the Kuils River and other regional branches, consistently praise the personalised guidance, responsiveness, and hand-holding offered to first time home buyers. In contrast, a recurring theme on the rental and property management side involves serious grievances around deposit deductions, poor communication from property managers, alleged conflicts of interest, and unsolicited marketing contact, with several customers escalating matters to regulatory bodies.

I have had the worst experience with realnet Rustenburg. Turns out the unit I have been renting was not paying for rates and taxes and municipality had to cut of my electricity on a couple of occasions. I have never missed my payments but eventually received a summon from the body corp to contact them regarding the unpaid rates and taxes. After this terrible experience I then decided to give a 30 day notice and was told I would be penalised. How am I being punished for an inconvenience I have nothing to do with. This can’t be the way realnet Rustenburg treats its clients. The unprofessionalim is appalling. You take advantage of hard working people.

This Company is the worst. When we moved in they were late to give us the keys. None of the items we reported as broken was Repaired, They Never give feedback when you need it. Now when you move out they neglect their own duties and we have to pay for it. Left the Premises on the 31st of July and we are now on the 17th of August still Nothing done regarding our deposit. You have to keep calling and they keep making Promises. This is one Pathetic Company and anyone that thinks they want to do business with them PLEASE DON'T you will be the fool at the end of the day. Dropping off my complaint at the Rental Tribunal first thing tomorrow.

I purchased a property through RealNet Polokwane, and as part of the agreement, the estate agent committed to having the swimming pool cleaned before handover. It has now been two years since that promise was made, yet the commitment remains unfulfilled. Instead of honouring the agreement, I am now being asked to fill the pool with water first, despite this never being part of our arrangement. It is disappointing that after receiving their commission, some property agents fail to uphold the commitments they made during the sales process. As a buyer, I expected the agreed-upon obligations to be fulfilled without having to pursue the matter repeatedly.

Very bad experience. I found a two-bedroom apartment on Property24 in Polokwane that I was interested in renting. Although the apartment was a bit expensive for my liking, I had no choice but to apply as I urgently needed a place to stay. I contacted RealNet Properties in Polokwane and was sent application forms to complete. I was also informed that I had to pay R450.00 before they would even consider my application. I was desperate, so I had to borrow the money from my boss in order to make the payment. What disappointed me most is that RealNet did not even properly consider my application. I personally went to view the property together with another interested applicant. I was very eager to take the apartment, while the other person even commented that the property was far too small to rent out for R7,500.00 and suggested it should rather be rented for R5,000.00. Three days later, I contacted RealNet to follow up on my application, but nobody could assist me properly and I was simply told they were waiting on head office. In the meantime, I app**** for another property through a different agency for a much bigger and nicer property, and I was approved the very same day. That agency did not charge me any upfront fees — they only requested payment after my application was approved. When I asked RealNet for my R450.00 back, they refused and claimed the money was used for a credit bureau check. This makes no sense to me because it does not seem like they even reviewed my credit profile or seriously considered my application. I feel that RealNet is unfairly taking people’s money without providing proper service or assistance.

Realnet Polokwane ***** the people that rent at them's deposit money. They ignore your calls. They send you WhatsApp just before the close for the day and they read you reply and just don't take your calls after that.

I have been using Realnet to rent my property out in Pretoria. I pay them a fee every month for the management and control of my property. A certain Hennie is in charge of my property and I constantly try to get hold of him, but I get absolutely no feedback via e-mail, WhatsApp or phone calls. I am very frustrated that I have to pay for a service which I am not receiving. I do NOT recommend Realnet when leasing our your property, use another estate agent.
