Rawson Properties Muizenberg - Worst of the Worst
Wish I could give them a negative 5 star, absolutely appalling service, arrogant and dismissive agents! Can't believe these people are still in business. I specifically dealt with Rawson Properties in Muizenberg. Would never ever recommend them and would advice anyone to stay as far away from them as possible.

I HATE MY BUYER
I finally found the courage to write this review. Never in my mind had I thought I would buy a house and an agent does not care for me as the buyer or the house they are selling me. You'd swear I was being handed an RDP house (RDP house owners are known to be short changed by builders with no care in the world, vecause it's a "free" house) not that it's right. It has been 6 weeks 6 weeks since I moved in into this house. On the day of keys handover I discovered that some parts of the house had been maliciously damaged or st**********. And the agent clai.ed unawareness and yet she gave me the keys, they were the last people to see the house when the seller vacated. I was told to return to the conveyancing lawyer to sort me out and nothing came out of that. He cited that the money owed by the seller to the bank was short and therefore no money was reserved for something like this. He encouraged me to open a ******** case, kanti he it's his way of getting reed of me. Here are the things that were stollen/removed/vandalised/damaged from my house without my consent or informing me: 1) As you enter main lounge - chandelier/fan was removed. Leaving a damaged ceiling. 2) A cupboard removed in the lounge 3) tap from the kitchen counter removed 4) Plumbing to the entire scullery and kitchen st**********. To this date I have no running water in my kitchen. Nor can I plug my appliances, I.e. Washing machine and dishwasher. 4) 2 bathrooms with leaking toilet and leaking wash basin 5) Damaged motor of the gate. I have opened a case and the police called them to verify what happened and the agent took offence and sent me a cery sharp message telling me she does not understand why I mentioned her name at SAPS on this matter. Mind you this is a person who held the keys and handed them over to me. I have since reported the matter to PPRA as well and await the outcome. I was done dirty by Rawson Properties, their agent Lungile and their attorney Matthew of Fairfoot.

AGENT TAKING FROM OUR INTEREST THAT WAS EARNED ON OUR DEPOSIT - FOR A "SERVICE FEE:" - HIDING TRUE AMOUNTS OF INTEREST EARNED
Rawson Properties - EDENGLEN - I am posting to the head group of this company. We were renting from Rawson Properties - Edenglen and when the landlord took over management - Mid Lease - Rawson Edenglen - recommended that the deposit stay with them, even though they were no longer managing the property, instead of advising it needed to be transferred to the Owner. When the "lease" ended, and the money had to be transferred - They literally hid the amount of interest that our deposit had earned, the full amount was NEVER shown on my Statement - and only upon asking for the interest Rate - did it come out, the actual amount of interest we had earned. Turns out, they deducted R1,583.34 labelled as a "Service fee". An additional R85.33 - When i queried, who authorised this deduction, the owner - Chiara ***nley rep**** with a very rude and hostile email, saying "It was not their problem etc". Head office has not even come back to me about this, after sending an email. My lease stated that ALL INTEREST incurred is the tenants money, yet, she still deducts and claims service fee. Its called THEFT. We want our money back. I have all the documentation and emails to support this. Its truly disgusting. I wonder what it must feel like to have people owning a franchise and dragging Rawson Properites name down, with the absolute horrid and dishonest behavior.

Unprofessionalism
I have been staying at Rawson for almost 1 year. I have been calling and asking for them to come and inspect. They gave me Princess Blose (***( That lady is so rude and unprofessional. She called me and told me straight up that the apartment is not prioritise. I wish there was a way to put the recordings on hello Peter. I don't advise that and company or anyone to work with Princess Blose . She has no work ethic and she lacks communication skills. Her attitude will cost Rawson Properties a fortune.

I have been staying at Rawson for almost 1 year. I have been calling and asking for them to come and inspect. They gave me Princess Blose (***( That lady is so rude and unprofessional. She called me and told me straight up that the apartment is not prioritise. I wish there was a way to put the recordings on hello Peter. We purchased a property in the year 2023- CASH. Up until today, we have not received the title deed and further more, the owner of the house (seller) claims that he did not receive these funds from Rawsons. We’ve been paying rent since last year much on the very same apartment, hoping that the Rawsons team would sort the problem out, unfortunately we were wrong. The owner is evicting us from the property. The Agent that assisted us (SUNITHA PHUNWASI- PHOENIX) is no where to be found, Non of the managers are taking this seriously.

Rawson Rita & Jandre & Johan Lubbe - ****shows
Ive had my 2 bedroon duplex on rent for months and longer They cannot know what they doing or maybe just asking tenants credit fees to pocket because nothing comes out of the full 15 that have visited my house. This is exceptionally bad fron this company, had two people helping me from them. Rita and Juandre. Johan was also involved but also obviously didnt help at all. This company is ***! Im trying to rent my property and it really cant be so difficult!! Contact me urgently because this was my worst disappointment in all years. Its been 3 months now¡!! What must I tell my children if I sit without a house!!!??? I will go to the housing tribunal with this terrible service and also the PPRA i will gladly lock a complain with *** as well as ***
