AGENT TAKING FROM OUR INTEREST THAT WAS EARNED ON OUR DEPOSIT - FOR A "SERVICE FEE:" - HIDING TRUE AMOUNTS OF INTEREST EARNED

Rawson Properties - EDENGLEN - I am posting to the head group of this company. We were renting from Rawson Properties - Edenglen and when the landlord took over management - Mid Lease - Rawson Edenglen - recommended that the deposit stay with them, even though they were no longer managing the property, instead of advising it needed to be transferred to the Owner. When the "lease" ended, and the money had to be transferred - They literally hid the amount of interest that our deposit had earned, the full amount was NEVER shown on my Statement - and only upon asking for the interest Rate - did it come out, the actual amount of interest we had earned. Turns out, they deducted R1,583.34 labelled as a "Service fee". An additional R85.33 - When i queried, who authorised this deduction, the owner - Chiara ***nley rep**** with a very rude and hostile email, saying "It was not their problem etc". Head office has not even come back to me about this, after sending an email. My lease stated that ALL INTEREST incurred is the tenants money, yet, she still deducts and claims service fee. Its called THEFT. We want our money back. I have all the documentation and emails to support this. Its truly disgusting. I wonder what it must feel like to have people owning a franchise and dragging Rawson Properites name down, with the absolute horrid and dishonest behavior.
