Worst internet service in Pretoria
This is my second time buying a Rain SIM card after 3 months. No change at all. My download speed is always less than 100kB/s while my upload speed is always above 500kB/s. What's the deal? Why such a bad service? I've already tried 3 rain towers and the result is the same for the download speed. The only thing that changes is the upload speed which can get up to 1MB/s. Why is rain throttling me when I haven't even started?

18 Dec 2020, 10:57Ok. The speed has slightly improved, but it's not even a quarter of Telkom's speed. And the upload speed is still about 10x the download speed. Why? Why this unusual difference? From all the years I've been using ISPs the download speed has always been higher than the download speed. Can you please provide a reason Rain?
