Worst Communication Ever!! Might as well be a government department.

I signed for Rain 5G Home Unlimited package when I moved to my new flat in July. For the most part, it works and the downtime initially was fairly frequent but relatively short. Recently the outages have become worse and last for days on end. As I type this I have had no connectivity since last week Thursday (almost 7 days and counting).

What has been consistent is their poor communication when there is an outage in the area. When I say poor I am being generous, its virtually non-existent. They dont have a call centre that you can call call and get updates, they respond late to emails or DMs on Twitter, and when they do respond its either too late or they tell you nothing specific.

Downtime/outages are one thing, but lack of communication is just unacceptable - how do you go for nearly a week and not update your clients what is going on and when it is expected to be resolved. Without that information I cant make plan anything, I cant make an informed decision as to what back up plan I should make and I cant work from home. They have said they will credit me for the time its down but that is insufficient, their credit wont cover the additional expenses I am incurring which include additional data bundles on my phone, travelling costs to get to and from the office because I cant work from home. And everyday I get home hoping that it will be back up...

I would not recommend Rain to anyone purely for their lack of communication, they are worse than Government Departments.
