VN - a ****** and unhappy customer

Rain's consultant sold me online an internet access package that goes with a device for wifi connectivity in May 2024. I received it via courier but it never worked from day one. I reported it and no one even bothered to acknowledge my report. Whilst waiting for someone to revert back and have the matter resolved, I paid my first month (june 2024) commitment with no service received. Second month (July 2024), the same thing occurred with no one from Rain attending to the matter. I was just constantly bombarded with reminders for payment, whist no service is provided. I decided to stop payments from my bank and that's when I first got a call from Rain agent enquiring about non payment after numerous debit orders were were not honored which costed me unnecessary bank charges. I told the consultant my problem and the reason why I stopped paying. He promised to escalate the matter to management as he was not in a position to assist me. A week or 2 later, a lady called - presumably a senior official to enquire about my non payment and I told her my concerns like the first one, she tried to locate me in their system but could not and eventually she told me that she was going to ask them to cancel the contract as I told her that I don't want to have anything to do with Rain - I just want my money back and they can give thier device to someone else. Seemingly this was never done as I am now being harassed with payment requirements and my bank account is being attacked with debit orders that bounce back leaving me with bank charges to pay, and messing up my credit profile in the process. I shall never recommend Rain to anyone as their service is pathetic and all they are interested in is people's money...
