Very unhappy
Rain continues billing me for a service I cancelled in January. I am extremely frustrated with the way Rain has handled my account. On 1 January, I phoned Rain to cancel my Rain Work (R825) package and requested to move to Rain Home (R649) instead. That call lasted 7 minutes and 47 seconds. I was told I would receive a follow-up call on 22 January to finalise everything. That call never happened. On 24 January I had to call again (6 minutes 33 seconds) to repeat the cancellation request for Rain Work and again request Rain Home. I received the new router, but nobody ever came to collect the old one as promised. On 1 February I called again (16 minutes 15 seconds) after noticing I had been overcharged. I was told the billing was “correct” because I was being charged in arrears for Rain Work and in advance for Rain Home. During this call I again clearly stated that I do not need two WiFi services and that Rain Work must be cancelled. Now I have been told that the service is only being cancelled now, two months after my original request, and I may still be charged again at the end of the month.
Even worse, there has been no response regarding the overcharging for the past two months.
This is unacceptable. I cancelled the service multiple times and should not be billed for a company’s administrative failures.
What I expect from Rain: A refund or credit for the incorrect charges
Customers should not have to chase a company for months just to cancel a service and fix incorrect billing.
I hope Rain resolves this urgently.
rain.
