upload speed less than 1mbs - not appropriate for business

Rain promise unlimited speeds with their tech forward 5G router. We have experienced great download speeds, but the upload speed is constantly below 1mbs. Not appropriate for any type of business wifi. We went for the better package to ensure we don't encounter this problem. I called support and they said upload and download should be in proportion to each other. I've emailed saying I need help, nobody has called back. Great service and internet up until now.
