Title: Rain's WiFi Service: A Catastrophic Blend of Unreliability, Dismal Speeds, and Disrespectful Customer Service

My venture into Rain's WiFi service has been nothing short of a calamity, encompassing a myriad of issues that have collectively transformed what should be a seamless connectivity experience into an ongoing nightmare.

1. Unreliable Connection: The WiFi signal from Rain seems to have a mind of its own, frequently dropping out with the router displaying a disheartening "No Connection." Despite following the routine troubleshooting steps provided by Rain's customer service, the problem persists, leaving me in a perpetual state of frustration and inconvenience.

2. Abysmal Upload Speeds: The promised high-speed internet is but a distant dream as the upload speeds consistently hover around a meager 0.8Mbps, barely reaching 1Mbps during peak performance. This makes even the most basic online tasks, such as uploading files or participating in video calls, excruciatingly slow and nearly impractical.

3. Ineffective Customer Support: Attempting to resolve these issues with Rain's customer support has proven to be an exercise in futility. The call agents not only lack empathy but also offer dismissive solutions, telling me to "be patient and wait" as if my need for a reliable internet connection is inconsequential. The disrespectful demeanor of the call agents adds insult to injury.

4. Empty Promises and Escalation Delays: Each call ends with a promise of resolution, as the call agent claims to have escalated the case to higher authorities. Unfortunately, these promises have proven to be nothing more than empty words, leaving me in limbo for days without any feedback or resolution from Rain's supposed higher-ups.

In conclusion, Rain's WiFi service is an amalgamation of unreliability, abysmal speeds, and disrespectful customer service. The recurring "No Connection" issue, coupled with the snail-paced upload speeds, creates an environment of frustration that is further intensified by call agents who seem more interested in placating customers with empty promises than in resolving the underlying issues. For those considering Rain as their internet service provider, the numerous shortcomings and the lack of basic customer service decency should serve as a warning to explore more reliable and customer-centric alternatives.

I received a call 30 minutes ago and was told I would be called back. I am now waiting for over 30 minutes. This is ridiculous. And I still do not have any wifi connection.

The customer service has been absolutely shocking. I was called by the network department, only for the call to cut. And then I was never called back. When I called customer service and asked to be put through to the network department, Munja Adala (the customer service agent) said all he could do was place an issue and escalate the issue. This is nonsense because when the same thing happened earlier the customer service agent sent a message to the Network department for them to contact me. It is now past 8pm and I am not able to get through to Rain, and I am now stuck without wifi for the rest of the evening and tomorrow. Absolutely shocking service. And no urgency to fix anything.

This is not good enough. I am now two whole days without wifi, today going into the third day. I am paying monthly for a service that doesn’t even work? And now I am must just “wait” for people to contact me about delivering a new one? How long am I expected to wait. It’s Wednesday and I filed this complaint on Monday. This needs to be sorted out right now.

My recent experience with Rain, the internet service provider, has left me dismayed and frustrated due to unexpected and unexplained billing discrepancies. Despite being initially informed of a fixed monthly charge of R595, my bank statement reveals otherwise.

For the January-February period, Rain debited R450.63, and for the subsequent February-March period, an uncommunicated charge of R515.39 was deducted. This not only contradicts the agreed-upon monthly fee but also raises concerns about the transparency and communication from Rain regarding their billing practices.

In light of these billing discrepancies, I am urgently seeking an immediate refund for the overcharged amount of R515.39. Failure to address this issue promptly and rectify the unauthorized charges will leave me with no choice but to pursue legal action to ensure a fair resolution.

The lack of clarity during the sign-up process and the subsequent deviation from the promised R595 per month is both disappointing and financially burdensome. This unexpected change has left me questioning Rain's commitment to transparent and fair business practices.

I urge Rain to address this matter urgently and provide a refund for the overcharged amounts. I hope for a swift resolution to this issue and a reevaluation of Rain's billing practices to prevent similar incidents in the future.

I was never informed of this. This is extremely unprofessional and shocking service. I will be taking this further.

So I am now expected to pay over R1100 every month?

Absolutely useless!! I haven’t had connection for 7 days. You guys send me a new device and now that I have the new device today and upon setting it up it’s telling me i still have NO CONNECTION!? This is ludicrous. When I call in no one answers. What am I truly paying for? This is nonsense. Absolute *******. Is this a joke? Are you actually worried about ensuring your customers have a secure connection or not? On top of that I did not receive the two additional sim cards with my new device. This is absolutely shocking and unacceptable. I cannot believe I am fighting for this AGAIN!!!!!!!
