They sell you stars and sunshine but give you rain

I had been using the Rain network for a while in Gauteng without issues however when I moved down to the Western Cape I lost network connection but the service provider continued billing me. I contacted them to inform them of this and to terminate the service which I did on 22/04/2021. The service provider still billed me in May 2021 despite the fact that I informed them that I have not been getting services for 5 months. They indicated to me that the SIM card was active on their side so they bill you according to that. South Africa, deal with a service provider that will bill you for services rendered not with a service provider that only monitors SIM cards but do not care if the service is actually rendered or not. We work hard for our money and we can't pay for an active SIM even if we are not getting services.

We need a service provider that is honest. That SIM was not used since January and you tell me there was no usage only for April, please. This is why I tell the country to connect with a provider that will bill the for services rendered not for active SIM
