The Worst Service Experience I’ve Had — Rain’s Support Is an Absolute Disgrace!!!!

I have to be brutally honest: Rain’s customer service is nothing short of pathetic. I am disgusted by how little they care about their paying customers. When the network works, they’re silent. But the moment something goes wrong, they completely disappear and leave you stranded. This past week exposed exactly how unreliable and uninterested Rain really is.

On Monday, a hailstorm damaged the tower in my area. Fair enough — natural disasters happen. I didn’t complain, I didn’t rush to point fingers. I gave Rain the benefit of the doubt.

But by Wednesday, the connection was basically unusable. I reached out via WhatsApp, and even though the bot acknowledged the tower issue and confirmed my router had been rerouted to a much further tower, I still got the same lazy, robotic reply: “Please reboot your router.” As if rebooting would magically fix a damaged tower. It was insulting, honestly.

Thursday went by with absolutely no response or follow-up. No update. No courtesy message. Nothing. Just silence.

Today (Friday), I phoned in — and shocker — I got the exact same scripted nonsense: reboot your router. The agent even confirmed the tower is under repair, but still insisted on pushing the same pointless reset instructions. No ETA. No accountability. No escalation. I asked for a manager or anyone from an advanced team to call back — surprise, surprise — nothing.

Now I’m stuck for the entire weekend with barely functioning WiFi, forced to spend more money on mobile data just to stay connected, knowing full well that Rain will not reimburse a cent. I am paying for a service I cannot use, and they don’t even have the decency to communicate properly.

Rain’s customer service is a joke. Their support system is useless. And their attitude toward clients is downright disrespectful. Ignoring customers, hiding behind bots, and repeating copy-and-paste instructions is not support — it’s negligence.

This experience has pushed me to the edge. Unless Rain drastically improves their communication, accountability, and basic customer respect, I will not hesitate to take my business elsewhere — and I will make sure others know exactly how Rain treats their clients when things go wrong.

Hi Rain,

Thank you for your response and for confirming that billing will be adjusted once the site is restored. I do appreciate the acknowledgement and the intention to correct the situation — assuming that this commitment is genuinely followed through.

However, I need to be honest: I am still extremely disappointed with how this entire issue has been handled. The lack of communication, no clear timeline, and minimal sense of urgency over the past few days have made this experience very frustrating. It is difficult not to feel ignored as a paying customer.
I also want to make it clear that I am not trying to threaten anyone, but I do feel it is necessary to formally state the following: if this issue is not resolved soon, I will be left with no choice but to move to another service provider. I value reliability and customer support, and if Rain cannot provide that, then I cannot justify staying.

Additionally, I have recently been informed by a colleague who cancelled their service with Rain that the cancellation process was just as frustrating as the issue resolution process. Public complaints seem to say the same. I want to make it clear that I will not tolerate a tedious, obstructive, or drawn-out cancellation procedure if it comes to that. If Rain makes that process more difficult than it needs to be, you will certainly be hearing from me — and it will not be quiet.

For now, I am giving Rain the opportunity to make this right, and I appreciate the acknowledgment so far. I expect transparent updates and a genuine effort to resolve this quickly.

Thank you.

RAIN!

At this point, I am honestly exhausted and extremely frustrated. I received your message yesterday stating that “the issue should be resolved by today”, yet — to absolutely no surprise — the issue is not resolved. In fact, the situation has only gotten worse.
Right now, only one device can connect at a time. The moment a second device connects, the entire internet “bombs out” and I get “Connected without Internet”. This is not acceptable by any standard.
I called in again today and spoke to an agent named Kate, and I want it on record that she was professional, patient, and the only person in this entire ordeal who has actually treated me like a customer. She gave me proper feedback, but what she told me next is what pushed me right over the edge:
After the tower in my area went down, someone reconnected my router to the wrong tower — not the closest available one, but one that’s roughly 2.5 km away, despite there being another tower 1.5 km away that would have offered a much better connection. This is completely unacceptable, negligent, and frankly shocking.
Kate escalated the issue and I was reconnected to the closer tower, and while the connection is slightly better, the service is still nowhere near functional. I can connect only two devices before everything collapses again. This has been going on since the 1st — and it is unbelievable that Rain still does not have this under control.
At this point, I want to make the following absolutely clear:
1. I will NOT be paying for the days where I had unusable or severely degraded service.
2. I am already preparing to move away from Rain entirely.
3. Until that cancellation is finalized, I expect Rain to provide the service I am paying for — nothing more, nothing less.
I have been patient. I have been reasonable. But I am done tolerating excuses, delays, and being shuffled from one broken tower to the next with zero urgency or accountability.
Rain needs to resolve this properly, fully, and immediately — or you will lose yet another customer who is tired of being ignored and paying for a service that does not function.
I expect a meaningful update and a resolution, not another empty promise.

I hope this message reaches all before its to late. DO NOT USE RAIN!

To date I have not received any help! Above I have mentioned that Kate said she would help however that was an empty promise! Above I was informed that my billing would be adjusted however since I am canceling my service with them I was informed that they will still charge me for my usage through this struggle of connection (giving there EMPTY... MEANINGLESS word that they will take the struggle under consideration when it comes to my last billing). All Rain is good for is pre-scripted messages, empty promises and their word that they WILL take your money regardless of the service you received from them.
