The Days of Lives with Rain

What Rain has been putting us through in Tsakane for weeks is nothing short of outrageous. Every single day we are forced to deal with network failures, disconnections and unusable speeds. I am paying for a service that is simply not being delivered. I have had to spend extra money buying mobile data just to write my exams in peace something I should never have to do when I am already paying Rain every month. To make matters worse, calling customer support at *** only adds insult to injury. We are met with call-centre agents who insist on putting on an awkward American accent while offering “solutions” that amount to nothing more than: “Please reboot your router, Sir.” If that is the full extent of Rain’s technical problem-solving process, then it is a disgrace. Yet, when month-end arrives, Rain suddenly becomes extremely efficient. Debits go through without hesitation like African bank chasing a default. Rain expects full payment for a service that barely works outside of the early morning. Do you consider this fair? Reasonable? If Rain refuses to acknowledge and address this problem, I will make sure my experience is documented publicly. I will gladly return to write a detailed review, attaching every email and piece of correspondence as proof. The public deserves to see how Rain treats paying customers who simply want what they are promised.

Enough is enough

I am compelled to lodge this complaint yet again after receiving yet another generic message from Rain, in which you claimed I would be contacted and that the ongoing network issues would be resolved. That assurance has proven false. As I write this, I remain without any network connectivity whatsoever.
I must state this plainly: Is Rain seriously expecting full payment for a service that has been consistently substandard, unreliable, and, at times, entirely unavailable? It is unreasonable and unacceptable to demand payment for a service you are failing to deliver.
Furthermore, I am forced to confront a deeply troubling question. Would customers in predominantly white neighbourhoods be subjected to service failures of this magnitude, or is this level of disregard reserved for black communities? The pattern is difficult to ignore, and the lack of accountability only reinforces these concerns
