STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE

The internet stopped internet'ing. Used to recieve 10MB speeds, which was a dream. Since March speeds have been sub 1MBps. Just connected my PS4 to my work from home MTN router and my Forntite said 12min left to download. Switched to Rain and its saying 11 hours left. Can't do anything on dialup, sub 1MBps speeds. NOTHING. Pictures won't load and forget watching a video. Absolutely pathetic.

If you think there's someone who's going to be of help, forget it. Their customer service is nonexistent. Doesn't exist! I sent them a message on the 3rd of July (***), and it's the end of the month and no response.

Also, living in a previously disadvantaged area I've come to expect no sense of urgency from the ISP industry. If I leave Gugulethu and drive 15min to Rondebosch, the speeds shoot up to over 40mbps. As per apartheid spacial planning, we don't receive the best of anything.

The value proposition is out the window. R479 for 40GB of data!? Can't use anymore bc the Internet hobbles along. I shouldn't have to risk a reprimand for using their MTN ****le when I'm paying fibre prices for Rain. TRASH.
