Stay Away from the Rain 5G Home Basic Package - please!

I'm rating low specifically on the "new'' 5G Home Basic Package recently launched for R499 per month. I'm currently on the R479 4G mobile package and this connection is far faster and way more stable than the supposed ''faster 5G and fancy Oppo 5G CPE T1a router!. I tested the product for 2 days, and my work laptop kept prompting me to go back to my other 4G older network as its a better connection! Note that the 5G router continually shows ''excellent'' signal strength, so it's not the position of the router, as it was receiving excellent and full signal, but when trying to navigate my way through web pages and/or load something to stream, there's a lot of latency, more so than my older router on the older 4G package! Stay away, stay way, stay away, from this package until Rain have sorted out their 5G signal / network connection issues! I'm very glad I did not cancel my older 4G package. On receiving the newer 5G package, I chose to overlap the two for a few days to make sure I don't sit without internet or sit with unstable internet connection! But unfortunately, the newer router and 5G package is unreliable, even though the router shows ''excellent'' signal strength. Overall, I'm happy with Rain, very happy with my current standard 4G package although not always fast, it does have some latency, but it's mostly stable and more reliable than this new upgrade. My other issue with this ''upgrade'' is I can't wait up to 2 days each time I have a connection issue, for Rain call center to answer my ticket logged.
